Spartochori, built on rocky ground but surrounded by greenery, seems to be suspended between heaven and earth.

From the square, known as the “balcony”, with the impressive view towards the island of Scorpio and the eastern coast of Lefkada, a paved path starts that crosses the pine-covered slope and ends at the port of Spilia under the “view” of the Cave of Cyclops, which remains unexplored and unexploited, part of the mysterious charm of the island of the ancient seafarers and pirates Tafia.

Dimos Tselios, better known as Dimotselios, was born here in 1785. His real family name was Dimos Ferentinos.

Spartochori has several accommodation options, cafes, restaurants and taverns, where the visitor can enjoy Greek cuisine with delicious appetizers.
